is happening in the current season of God’s purposes on the earth?

At this present time the earth has found itself in the midst of the most significant series of changes it has experienced since the church was birthed in Jerusalem after the Holy Spirit fell upon the saints on the day of Pentecost. Changes of all kinds are taking place now and will intensify at an alarming rate in 2002-2003. The direction God is moving in is not going to be limited to a particular segment of the world. The Lord is crossing over geographical boundaries, cultural boundaries, and traditional boundaries in order to advance the momentum of kingdom influence around the entire globe.
Moving in time with God and following where He is moving is vital in this present season of change. The winds of transition are going to continue to blow and intensify over the next three years as the church is repositioned for future success. In this time the Lord is going to continue to dismantle old concepts and paradigms that are not valid for the new territory ahead. More than ever before there is a requirement for the Body of Christ to live from the inner man of the Spirit because of the subtle shifts that are now taking place in the spirit realm. Like a sailor who is constantly looking out for changes in the wind in order to traverse the ocean effectively, so too the church must be sensitive in this hour of transition.
PROPHETIC INSIGHT FOR THIS HOUR
1.
A vision of surgeons working on a heart
During a time of prayer I saw a vision of seven surgeons working to cure
a disorder in a human heart. Each surgeon had an instrument that was full
of a white liquid substance. I watched as each surgeon inserted the instrument
and flushed free the heart of things such as, selfish ambition, jealousy,
fear, wrong motives, pride and offences. The moment the liquid light entered
into the heart it would purify the heart of these disorders. The Lord
revealed to me that He was now working in a deeper way on the heart of
His people. Those that would open their hearts to the living Word in this
season would experience His purifying presence in their lives in a deeper
way. 2002-2003 is going to be a time of great testing as the Lord works
to free the church from spiritual heart disease.
2.
A time of reformation is upon the church
God is moving in a reformation Spirit which is more profound than that
which took place in the day of Martin Luther. The word reformation (Greek:
diorthosis) basically means to make a structural adjustment; to make straight
again that which is broken, protrudes or has become misaligned, to put
back into the correct order or form. This season of reformation will bring
four major changes to the church: 1. It will elevate our perspectives
obtained from previous moves. 2. Change our values to those of the kingdom
of God. 3. Adjust our standards of living 4. Empower the church to move
forward accurately.
The present reformation that is moving across the earth will return the church to Biblical standards and patterns for building churches. This reformation move of God will shift the church out of invalid structures that have hindered the church from becoming a dwelling place for God. As a result of this reformation move the Lord will move the church into a new place of maturity and strength. This present reformation will unfold a more accurate picture of the purposes of God intended for the church in the nations.
3.
The Body equipped for the work of the ministry
One of the greatest hindrances to the maturing of the church has been
an age old tradition of the leaders of churches doing all the work of
the ministry rather than the saints. After the death of Stephen, persecution
arose against the church in Jerusalem causing the saints to be scattered
throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria. They went out preaching the
word of God with many signs and wonders taking place. The original Apostles
stayed in Jerusalem but the saints went everywhere doing the work of the
ministry (Acts 8: 1,4) This caused the kingdom of God to advance throughout
many regions.
The church of the 21st century will be a church where every person is equipped to be an active functioning member of the Body of Christ. Church growth attitudes of the eighties and nineties will shift from, “how many people we can gather, to how many people can we send out.”
4.
The Glory of His inheritance in the saints
On September the 22nd 2001 I had a vision in Singapore, of the Lord walking
across the heads of millions of people within nations. His garments were
heavy laden with the glory of His inheritance. Each time a person discerned
the Lord’s presence they received provision for their lives. I saw
thousands of people receiving their calling, others receiving wisdom and
understanding. Whatever the Body of Christ needed in order to grow and
mature they would receive as His garments touched them. Ephesians 1:18-19
is beginning to manifest this year in the lives of those who are desiring
true riches. These riches of the glory of His inheritance will be released
to those who are truly walking in Him. The key to true fruitfulness in
the coming days will rest upon our willingness to be hidden in Him. In
Christ are hidden all the riches we need for earthly success. The deeper
our revelation of Christ, the more we will walk in the glory of His inheritance
in the coming years.
5.
Truth Justice and righteousness
On 28th of September 2001 the Lord appeared to me in a vision and His
countenance emanated truth, justice and righteousness. He had His sword
drawn and appeared ready to fight the injustices on the earth. In 2002
& 2003 we will see the Lord work through His church to establish these
three pillars first of all in the church then in the nations. Is 59:14
Justice is turned back and righteousness stands afar off; For truth is
fallen in the street and equity cannot enter. Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness
exalts a nation Psalm 91:4 Truth shall be your shield… responsibility
to uphold these standards rests upon the church.
6.
A Kingdom Age
We are in a time of the closing of the church age to the birthing of the
millennial kingdom age. The voice of John the Baptist will ring loud again
through prophets as we shift from an old order into a new one. The prophetic
ministry, along with the apostolic ministry, will play a vital part in
adjusting the focus of the church back on to Christ. The kingdom message
will prepare the way for Christ to rule and reign in the church and through
the church.
This message of the Kingdom was the first message Jesus preached in Matt 4:17, and it will be the message of the 21st century. In this season the church will be turning from a humanistic gospel to preach Christ like the early church in the book of Acts. Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all, and then the end will come.
7.
Globalization of the church
The Lord is shifting the church out of a synagogue mentality, towards
a global mentality. A synagogue mentality has been the primary reason
why the church has been so largely focused within the four walls. God’s
ultimate intent is a move of the kingdom that breaks the powers of darkness
globally. The church will begin to see the nations as a ‘global
community’ that is reachable through the grace of God in this hour.
Matthew 9:35-36 Jesus changed His focus and ministry from those who were
in the synagogue to the multitudes outside. The church will become more
mission- minded as we move further into the 21st century. God is calling
the church to respond as Habakkuk did in his time to God’s command
to, “look amoung the nations and watch- Be utterly astounded!”
This year the Lord will be expanding and elevating the churches vision
to that of a global perspective.
It is an hour of reaping the nations as our inheritance (Psalm 2:8).
8.
Get ready for a Holy Spirit health check
In 2002-2003 the Holy Spirit is going to be directing leaders to focus
in on the spiritual health of the church rather than just the size of
the church. We are in a time where Galatians 4:19 is relevant for the
house of God. “Christ formed in you,” is one of the major
desires of the Lord for His bride in this hour. God is desiring the church
to ‘come off the bottle’ and onto solid food (Hebrews 5:14)
The command Jesus gave to Peter to ‘feed My sheep’ is for
the church leaders today. God is calling for all leaders to check the
diet they have been serving the church. A lot of spiritual health problems
of the past came as a result of humanistic philosophies taught in the
church. This will be rectified as the kingdom message returns to the pulpit.
9.
A new sound in worship
This year worship is going to take a new direction. Prophetic praise and
worship will grow stronger in the house of God this year and into the
years to come. Worship will release divine order in this hour. As the
prophetic anointing is released through worship, hearts will be aligned
to the purposes of God in this hour. Worship in this season will usher
in a demonstration of the power of God.
Worship once again is going to become a weapon of destruction to the enemy over cities and nations. Psalm 68:2 Let the wicked perish at the presence of God. The Lord is looking for praise He can inhabit. Praise and worship will assist in the building of a place for the Lord to come and abide with His people.
10.
A Revelation of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord is deepening the body of Christ’s understanding of who
the Holy Spirit is and His function in the life of the believer.
The key to successfully fulfilling our purpose in life is to develop a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is going to be a key to being effective and fruitful in the days ahead. True Christianity is relationship with God: it is becoming the temple of the Holy Spirit.
11.
Vigilant in Prayer
Colossians 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it…
This scripture is right for the body of Christ now. We must be awake and
be watchful in prayer. It is a season to be alert to the plans and purposes
of God in the nations.
Prayer and the prayer movement will begin to come to a new place of function in the church. Previously intercession has been regarded as a ministry for a select few. It will shift out of this old paradigm and become a ministry for all.
12.
Some nations to watch in 2002-2003 and beyond
Nigeria is going to experience a move of God that will be apostolic in
nature; it will be far reaching into many other nations. I foresee Nigeria
as becoming a catalyst to the release of mighty ministries that will demonstrate
evangelism like Philip out of the Bible. There will be battles going on
in the days ahead as the enemy tries to abort what the Lord is doing.
Much prayer is needed for Nigeria.
New Zealand is going to experience the spiritual wells of the past being opened up in the coming days. God is going to release a strong apostolic and prophetic voice to the nations from New Zealand. It will be known as a nation that resources other nations of the world. I heard the Lord saying that,” He is moving into Governmental areas of the nation to become a voice.”
Cambodia is going to become a nation of transformation. The Killing Fields are going to become a harvest field for the kingdom of God. New churches will begin to emerge in preparation for the harvest. Much in the way of resources is going to be poured into the nation by the church from many other nations. The Nehemiah type of ministry is going to be influential in the land of Cambodia as the Lord works to restore, rebuild and revive the people.
South Africa is going to be known as a leading prototype (model) nation in many areas relating to new kingdom works being established upon the earth by the Spirit of God. The Lord has marked this nation out to be an Antioch nation. Former spiritual limitations and boundaries placed over this land by the enemy are being broken. God has heard the cry of His people in this nation and just like Jabez, He is enlarging South Africa’s spiritual authority.
France is going to experience a measure of ‘new wine’ spilling over into the church. I heard the Lord say that it will be a time of Him strengthening the new churches that are arising in the land. God desires to ‘abound in truth’ through each church. There is a battle over truth and righteousness and the enemy seeks to pervert the truth by mixing the new wine. Prophets and a prophetic voice will emerge out of this nation as God releases a Samuel type of prophetic ministry to bring a new order. Please pray for this nation.
Many of the Central States of America will experience a fresh anointing in prayer through which the Lord will establish epicentres of breakthrough that will impact the surrounding states.
It must be understood that God is doing many great things in many nations of the earth. These were the nations the Lord impressed upon my heart to share some prophetic insights.
