Barbara Chan, a retired judge and Harvest Evangelism Director in Hong Kong, along with Roy and Yuk-Lynn Chen, two greatly anointed marketplace ministers, organized a most extraordinary sequence of transformational events.

On February 15 we conducted a seminar for pulpit and marketplace ministers in the Tsuen Wan District. The power and the presence of God were wonderfully tangible throughout the day, and as one session built upon the other, it reached a majestic climax when the pastors stood on the platform to commit to work in unity until everyone has heard the voice of God and experienced His transforming power in Hong Kong. Words are absolutely inadequate to describe the extraordinary manifestation of the presence of God as we first commissioned the pastors and then released them to commission their members to take the power and the presence of God to the marketplace 24/7 beginning immediately. For the next 13 weeks the pastors will be "coaching" their members on how to take the Kingdom of God to places in the marketplace where the Gates of Hades are still standing (but not for long). That evening, Jaeson Ma led an enthusiastic rally bridging the generations.

February 16 (Sunday) we were hosted in an assembly presided by David Wong and Hugo Chan at the site known as Noah's Ark, a life-sized rendition of the original which is the anchor piece for a new community development designed by Thomas Kwok, arguably one of the most influential Christians in Hong Kong. Following presentations by Cindy Jacobs and Dick Eastman, we entered into a time of corporate repentance for the five millenniums of worship of the Dragon by the Chinese, this being their year of the Dragon. A similar service was then held at the Apex, one of the premier buildings in Hong Kong, property of the Kwok family, where westerners repented for the role of Britain and other western nations in subjugating Hong Kong. As you may remember, China was forced to cede Hong Kong to England as war compensation after losing the war over the opium trade. Tragically, England (a "Christian" nation) forced China (a pagan nation) not to obstruct the opium trade from which the former benefited so handsomely. This inequity laid the foundation for subsequent western impositions on the Chinese and on Hong Kong in particular. The repentance at the Apex, led by Cindy Jacobs, was a prophetic act to launch the reversal of that iniquitous curse.

On Monday, while Cindy Jacobs held a Deborah Company lunch, Roy Chen organized a lunch with men of influence for me to minister to them, along with Mike Jacobs. This event was attended by some of the most influential Christians I have met, and the teaching I shared on how to have intimacy in marriage was like water on parched land. That night we met with Hong Kong ITN members and heard some of the most edifying reports of transformation happening in companies, airports and churches.

On Tuesday, we met with five former Buddhist business people who are developing one of the premier new cities in China, an investment of billions of dollars. They shared their amazing story of how they came to know the One True God after literally hearing His voice. They subsequently were led to Barbara Chan who guided them to dedicate themselves and the city they are building to God. They have even cleared the two top floors of a 43-story office tower to be used as a prayer tower. Meeting with them was such a highlight since they are so hungry for God. We ministered to them, laid hands on them, setting them aside for the work of the ministry, and then prayed for a major financial issue they have been working on. Minutes after saying "Amen," they received a message from a trade associate announcing that he was boarding a plane to come to see them with important news. You should have seen their excitement. "Prayer works!" they kept shouting.

By the grace of God, and thanks to the leadership of Barbara Chan and Roy and Yuk-Lynn Chen, we have found the point of inception in Hong Kong to anchor a prototype and it is already impacting the rest of the region. Add to this the sovereign move of God among the former Buddhist developers, and the subsequent dedication of one of China's premier cities to God following their conversion on the heels of the longstanding faithful work of leaders like Hugo Chan and David Wong, to mention just two, and it becomes very clear that Hong Kong is a detonator that will activate China.

When we boarded the plane for Singapore, we did so with a profound sense of satisfaction that this city, for which we had organized one million hours of intercession in Argentina during the '90s, is firmly on its way to being "the Antioch of China," the beachhead chosen by God for His Marines to land and move inland.

Thank you for your prayers. Keep them coming. And watch for our next report from Singapore.
