Are you ready? To make a difference in your neighbourhood.

The Awakening Expo Day is a unique chance to be equipped and inspired to get out into your community and make a difference! You’ll hear stories from groups who have moved to the centre of their suburbs and towns with a range of programs and activities that draw the community together. And you’ll hear how these same Australian grown programs are now having major impact in a range of overseas settings like Indonesia, Nigeria, Albania and China – and how to become part of that adventure. Find out ways you can be involved and help communities all over China during the 2008 China Games Opportunity.

There will be practical sessions to help you learn some of the skills involved – an opportunity to be linked with others so as you’re not on your own as you
step out.

Input will include a range of valuable tools for outreach.
- Running Open Crowd Festivals which bring the Kingdom of God to the heart of a region and draw the churches into the centre of the community.
- Using the Schools in Harmony Program to bring you into close contact with school children in your area, including Advent Pageants, and the Pilgrimage to Uluru.
- Connecting young people into state-wide Day Trips and using them to motivate and train church youth groups.
- Balloon sculpture, face painting.

The Day is Free of Charge and includes morning tea and lunch but an offering will be taken to cover costs
