What The World Needs Now
Something is wrong and God is going to change it.
What the world needs now is a revival amongst Jesus believing people. In every community, town and city there is coming a new hunger for the presence of God. There is growing like a tidal wave a hunger to do only the will of God.
For too long believers in Jesus have lolled around doing churchianity, which is a formula guaranteed to bring death to any relationship. Now is the time for people to throw off the religious traditions that have kept them bound and come into the love of God their Father. There is a mood growing under the surface of the visible Church that says, “I am not satisfied with this!” People are beginning to ask God for revival realizing that their hearts are deadened and hardened to the things that touch Him.
Millions are dying without the Saviors love in their lives and the Church sits back powerless to do a thing or even to care. Millions are sick and the Church of Jesus has the power in His name to heal them. Millions are lost, without hope or direction, groping in the darkness of a world fixated by money. The church of Jesus is the Light of the World. But she has hidden her light and kept it to herself!
Jesus of Nazareth is God’s Lamb. He is the Lamb of God. He takes away the sins of the world. How?
On the Roman cross 2000 years ago He was crucified. He died carrying all your sins on His body. God the Father placed all our sins upon Jesus, even the darkest ones . God placed our sinful nature upon Jesus; He actually became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
Jesus was cut off from the eternal life and eternal love of His Father when he was made sin for us. Why? So that we might be made sons of God and receive eternal life through faith in what he did for us.
So what the world needs right now is for the truth of Jesus Christ to be preached, starting with the churches. The church is not preaching the truth anymore. The church has become ineffectual and dull. But God is raising up men and women all over the globe who will get close to the fire of his heart. Near the heart of God they will begin to hear his compassion and to receive of Him. A new generation of John Wesley’s will arise. A new generation of Evan Robert’s will arise. A new generation of Duncan Campbell’s will arise.
These were men who rode the winds of revival in their generation and men like them are coming up who will do the same and greater. Watch the horizon, they are coming! You shall hear of it soon. On the horizon the giant begins to stand. I see him getting up. I see life coming into his bones. Life and love energize this giant. It is the true church of Jesus Christ, those who do only the Father’s will, not their own.
What the world needs right now is for someone to stand in the face of the Goliath of churchianity and defy it in Jesus; name. Throw off the armor that tradition and religious people want you to wear and go on worshiping the way that God himself has trained you. Nothing will ever change unless someone rises up in the boldness of knowing who they are and who they belong to.
The cry is going up to God from the peoples of the world. Where is your help God? Where is your help? God hears their cry for help and he is causing a remnant of his people to hear the sound too. But this remnant are running to his secret place to hear God’s heart on it and to get his direction on it. They are waiting on him. Soon the world will see and know that there is God who loves them.
He will come into their darkness in a way never experienced before. Many in the church will persecute them as they begin to do the works of Jesus and greater. Yet God will do it, he will, for He loves you too much to do nothing. He is simply waiting for those that are His to get fed up enough with the dead religion that they have made for themselves and come to Him for life.
