Answers to FOUR STEPS TO FINDINGS YOUR DESTINY IN THE MARKETPLACE

1. 1. No matter where you find yourself in the marketplace today, what is important is that you embrace your calling to
transform that place by using the power that God has made available to you.

2. What was the fundamental difference between the Twelve and the Seventy that Jesus sent out in Luke 10?
Even though both groups loved Jesus, the Seventy enthusiastically obeyed and followed Christ's command to embrace sinners with blessing, fellowship, care & proclaimation.

3. What were the four steps that gave victory to the Seventy in Luke 10?
Blessing, fellowship, care & proclaimation.

4. What is the marketplace version of these four actions?
join the system, embrace it, improve it, and bring the kingdom of God to it.

5. When you make peace with your job, you neutralize the evil elements that have created strife between you and your work. When you embrace it, you make it a part of your life that makes God’s blessings extend to your job.

6. Nothing points marketplace people toward the Lord better than when they see a miracle in the marketplace.

7. Light can always increase, but darkness can only decrease.


B. Reflection and Discussion

1. Review and discuss each of the four principles of Luke 10 as applied to marketplace (read Join the System section). What might each look like in your place of business?
1a. Embrace job or business as God-given and be at peace with it.

1b. Make friends with your colleagues and clients (fellowship).

1c. Pray for them.

1d. Let your work ethics be a testimony of the redeemed life in you. By embracing your work and your labour as worship unto the Lord (Eph 6:7).

2. Review and discuss the five levels of misery and comfort. Where do you find yourself most often? Take a moment to pray and ask God to plant in your heart faith to see the entire marketplace transformed in your city.
Whatever levels of experience we are in let us aim for the best outcome possible all the times.
